Compliance at a glance

What the LPM regime requires

Estate-wide licence visibility

Every site licence, its holder, its conditions and its expiry tracked in one register. Dimeri surfaces renewals across the estate so nothing lapses unnoticed.

Machine placement under control

Machines registered with serial, type and current site, movements logged with authorisation, and per-site caps enforced automatically.

Connectivity that stays monitored

Monitoring system status tracked per machine with outages logged, durations recorded and reconciliation exceptions flagged for investigation.

Site conduct rolled up to the route

Site operator obligations, training records and inspection findings tracked per premises, with breaches escalating to the route operator in real time.

LPM Regulations compliance, covered by default

The foundational parts of LPM compliance are built in, including site licence tracking, machine registration, connectivity monitoring and estate-wide reporting, so a route operator runs three hundred sites as one register.

Getting LPM Regulations coverage in place

4 steps from where you are today to a LPM Regulations position your auditor can rely on.

Book a demo

Every site, its licence, the holder and the conditions are loaded with expiry dates. For a route operator this is the foundation everything else attaches to.

How Dimeri covers LPM Regulations

The estate as one view

Licences, machines, connectivity and findings across every site in one register, so expiring licences and disconnected machines surface as a list rather than being discovered site by site.

Machine movement with a trail

Every placement and movement is recorded with its authorisation, which is what allows the per-site cap to be enforced and the machine's history to be reconstructed on request.

Site findings that reach the licence holder

A breach at a site is a problem for the route operator's licence. Findings escalate to the licence holder with owners and deadlines rather than staying local.

LPM Regulations questions

What is the difference between a route operator and a site operator?

A route operator holds the licence to own limited payout machines and place them at licensed sites. A site operator holds the licence permitting machines to be operated at a particular premises. Both carry obligations, and a compliance failure at a site has consequences for the route operator whose machines are there.

What are the stake, prize and machine number limits?

Maximum stake, maximum prize and the number of machines permitted per site are all prescribed, and they have been amended over time. Because the figures change, confirm the current limits with the National Gambling Board or your provincial licensing authority rather than relying on a number in a system.

Why does monitoring system connectivity matter so much?

Every machine must be connected to the central electronic monitoring system, which records play independently of the operator. That independence is the point: it underpins both regulatory oversight and revenue assessment. A machine offline is therefore a compliance issue, not just a technical one, and the duration and cause should be recorded.

Do provincial rules differ?

Yes. The national regulations set the framework, but provincial gambling legislation and the licensing authority in each province add their own requirements, licence conditions and reporting. Operators across provinces run several obligation sets, which Dimeri holds separately over one control library.

Is this a substitute for legal advice?

No. LPM regulation is detailed, changes periodically and differs by province, and the sanction is the licence itself. Your gambling law advisers and the relevant licensing authority should confirm what applies to your operation.
